CASIBIS est une narration visuelle imaginaire interrogeant l’architecture et l’habitat en milieu naturel. Par un jeu de voltige, Guillaume Martial met en scène un personnage-oiseau, inspiré de l’ibis rouge emblématique de la Guyane. L’animal explore les décors d’urbanisme que les hommes avides de béton lui ont laissé. L’oiseau en cage devient la métaphore troublante de l’humain emprisonné dans son habitat bétonné.
CASIBIS amène à nous interroger sur l’habitat dans un territoire marqué par les flux migratoires. Par son univers coloré et décalé, Guillaume Martial nous offre une histoire toujours empreinte de dérision où la cage à oiseau se transforme en espace de liberté imaginaire et poétique…

CASIBIS is an imaginary visual narrative that questions architecture and habitat in the natural environment. Through a series of acrobatic feats, Guillaume Martial brings to life a bird character inspired by the iconic scarlet ibis of French Guiana. The animal explores the urban landscapes left behind by humans hungry for concrete. The caged bird becomes a disturbing metaphor for humans imprisoned in their concrete habitats.
CASIBIS leads us to question habitat in a territory marked by migratory flows. Through his colorful and offbeat universe, Guillaume Martial offers us a story imbued with derision, where the birdcage is transformed into a space of imaginary and poetic freedom…
